Switching to Jekyll

My original thought with this blog was that I would learn static web pages and improve my Javasript skills at the same time by using Hexo as the static site generator. I was struggling with the tool, though, and not finding the plug-ins that I wanted.

I switched over to Jekyll and have been pleased with it so far. It has more widespread adoption, and it is based on Ruby, so I am more comfortable tinkering under the hood as the occassion arises.
